Organically certified it’s as natural product as you are going to get. The consistency is a little snotty but you can practically feel it nourishing your skin as soon as you put it on. I only left it on for 10 minutes and my skin was glowing afterwards. It contains aloe vera and cranberry seed oil with rose water that helps to tone the skin. Would be great to buy as a gift for any age and people won’t think you are telling them they look old!

Purity – Facial Moisturiser (£5.99)
Purity facial moisturiser
98% Natural and 85% organic this really is a guilt free product. It’s a lightly whipped mousse moisturiser and on first application can feel a little bit strange. Once it has been applied it soaks into the skin really quickly and doesn’t feel in the tiniest bit greasy. It is made with coconut oil and sweet almond oil and has a gentle nutty scent. The packaging is simple and for the price it is excellent value for money.
Pond’s – Cold Cream Cleaner (£3.99)
If you don’t already have this in your beauty collection then I suggest you run out and buy it as soon as possible. This cream really was a revelation. If you smoother it all over your face and take it off with cotton wool, you will be amazed at the dirt that it removes. It takes off all eye make up and general dirt that your face picks up over the day but it also leaves your skin feeling cleansed and soft. It works like an expensive product but it’s priced thoroughly reasonably.

Berkeley Square
Berkeley Square Cosmetics have created a range that celebrates the magical ear of the 1920’s. Featuring original artwork giving the products a stylish and sophisticated look, adding a touch of glamour to anybody’s dressing table. I tried some of the rose petal range with notes of pink damascene rose, geranium, freesia and sandalwood, perfect for the romantic in you.
Body Lotion £8.50
Enriched with vitamin E it absorbs easily into the skin and left me smelling delicately rose fragranced all day.
Eau de Toilette £12.00
Dispelling the myth that roses are only for your grannies and valentines day, this eau de toilette has a light and refreshing fragrance that is perfect for any age. Spritz lightly after applying the body lotion for a seductive floral scent.
Rose Petal Soap Tin £4.95
A Shea butter soap in the cutest of tins making it perfect for travelling or as a gift. It won’t dry your skin out and has a delicate rose fragrance.
Lip Balm Rose £3.95
There are two beauty products that I always have in my bag, hand cream and lip balm. I must get through a pot a month. This one is lovely in that its soft enough to put on smoothly but not so soft that it becomes all glumpy. It also has a very light sheen making my lips glossy and soft.

Top 5 eyeliners
Achieving the perfect flick of eyeliner can be quite tricky and take a while to master. I am a big fan of the cat eye look and over the years have tried a variety of different liquid eyeliners. Here I review my five favourite eyeliners that wont break the bank.
Collection 2000 Glam Metallic in Groupie £2.99
A seriously funky alternative to black eyeliner for a night out for those who are a little bored of the same old thing. It lasted all night and well into the morning as well! Perfect for any eye colour but will look amazing with litter eyes in blue or grey. For the price it’s a complete bargain and should be in any party girls bag. Best for party girls
Blinc Eyeliner in Black £18.00
The priciest of the eyeliners but you won’t be disappointed spending that little bit more. It is unlike any eyeliner I have ever tries in that it slides off effortlessly in a layer of colour without the need for make up remover. Really easy to apply and gives a dramatic look its waterproof, smudge proof and crying proof (great for big softies like me that cry at everything!). You can apply at the start of the day and it will see you right through till the evening without needed any re touches. The packaging is great, it comes in a cigar case, and you can get a trial version for £2.50 if you are worried about sending £18 on something you haven’t tried before. Best for active people or those with sensitive eyes
GOSH Eyeliner Pen in Black £5.29
One of the easiest eyeliners to apply as its like a pen nip, it has a really intense black so is perfect for statement eyes. It can be applied in a thin line for everyday use or you can create a thick line for the evening. For the price it is worth every penny and the packaging is simple but chic. Best for everyday use
Barry M Liquid Eyeliner in Black £4.50
This is the eyeliner that first got me into using liquid liners instead of kohl. Fantastically easy to apply and in my case easy to remove which is great when you are starting out and make quite a few mistakes. Also available in pink, electric blue, coffee shimmer, purple, mermaid green and turquoise so a shade to suit everyone. Best for giving as a gift or those new to liquid liners
Eyeko Graffiti Eyeliner Pen in Black, £5.00
My go to eyeliner for a night out when I want to create a sexy look. It’s so easy to apply it’s the perfect liner to have a bit of fun with. Intense in colour and the nip is just like a felt tip pen it glides across your eyelids. It’s always in my make up bag and its perfect for everyday use and creating a more striking look with flicks or thick lines. Its smudge proof and long lasting, perfect for those who don’t want to be re-applying their make up all night. Best for those who want a seriously sexy eyes

MÁDARA
I tried the ‘nourish and repair’ shampoo and conditioner (£9.90 each) but the whole range is ECOCERT certified and contains no artificial dyes, fragrance, SLS or parabens. What they do contain its lots of lovely herbs and plants from the Blatic region, including nettle, linden flower, quince and plantain.
The shampoo was thinner than most shampoos but it lathered up well and the smell was heavenly. I felt like I was lying in a meadow on a summer day with flowers blooming all around me. The conditioner was creamy and left my hair feeling nourished and slinky. I have never really had a hair care range that left my hair smelling great the next day but this stuff left my hair smelling of fields! I was in a particularly boring meeting the next day and it facilitated my day dreaming of being out side in the fresh air.

amaZene
There is not much I enjoy after a long days work than a hot bubble bath (add a chilled glass of chardonnay and I’m in love!). As the weather gets colder, summer makes its last appearance and getting out of bed in the morning gets a little bit harder, I test some products to make the summer memories last a little but longer.
The first amaZene product I tried was the avocado and bath soak (£9.50), which is unusual in that it’s not quite bath salts but a powder. You sprinkle a handful into the bath and get a blast of tropical scent almost like I had emptied a can of lilt into the bath. Avocado oil is used as it’s one of the world’s most easily absorbed natural oils, and I felt slightly moisturized when I got out of the bath.
I didn’t felt moisturized enough though (for me I like to be somewhere between seal and slippery eel) so I thought I would rub in some papaya and acerole body lotion (£9.95). Again the smell is so tropical if you close your eyes you could imagine yourself on a desert island surrounded by coconuts. It absorbs very quickly and didn’t leave my skin greasy. The acerola is high in vitamin C that is a powerful anti-oxidant (great for cellulite) and papaya has skin repairing properties.
These products would make a great present for girlies of any age and also for men. They aren’t girly smells but fruity and refreshing and the packaging is funky and fun. Or you could also keep them for your own indulgence and just send a card!

GV, Instant Comfort Foot Balm £4.49 (100ml)
This foot balm will not only help dry, cracked and sore skin it will also keep your feet fresh smelling with peppermint and lavender. It’s a lovely thick cream that is easily absorbed into the skin and fragrance will stop any nasty pongs. I tend to put it on after I have had a shower in the morning and then I can slide my feet into my pumps without the fear of stinking out my colleges. It is also great after a night of dancing to relief tired feet and stop dryness caused by high heals.

Baptiste, Dry Shampoo
Baptiste dry shampoo is everyones favourite and it’s easy to see why. Available in a mixture of fruity smells that will make your hair smell good enough to eat. Instantly refreshes your hair in-between washes, making it great for those with coloured hair or the just plain lazy! I use mine at least twice a week as I fall into both categories! Turns your hair from flat to fabulous in a couple of blasts.
