Mister Mascara

Not having worn fake lashes I was a little sceptical about the ease of application and the desired effect. I'm not really used to putting things near my eyes, it took me years to figure out how to put on mascara properly, so I was a little nervous that I would blind myself or stick my eyelids together. Thankful these lashes are completely foolproof and it only took one attempt to get them in the right place. Mister Mascara's lashes kits (£9.44) has two sets of lashes, one for the day and one for the evening, and can be worn multiple times if you clean and store them properly. I am now an avid fan of the false lashes that make me feel instantly more glamorous without looking overly false.

Benefit

A great product for everyday use and has the added bonus of being SPF15. Even on days where there is no sun it is advised to wear sun protection so this tinted moisturiser is great for covering that rule. Lighter than a foundation it won't make your skin feel weighed down and provides a subtle tint to even out skin tone. It may seem a little but pricey but it last for so much longer than most foundations.

Benefit

I am always keen to find products that save me time and do a great job. Benefits SPEED BROW is one of those wonder products. Rather than having to faff around with pencils (which need sharpening as can so easily leave you looking like a surprised drag queen) this is a gel that swiftly sorts messy brows into slick ones. It even has a gentle tint to help patch in any sparse areas.

Benefit

BADgal lash - If you had to pick a desert island beauty product mascara is going to be at the top of 99.9% of girls lists. If I have to leave the house in a rush there is always time for mascara and benefit is my tried and tested favourite. Believe me I have played the mascara field,  I have even dabbled in blue before, but I have not yet found anything that comes close. The colour lasts all day which is great for people like me that are too lazy to re-apply throughout the day. It doesn't take industrial cleaner to remove and doesn't flake off during the day making me look like an Alice Cooper tribute. If you invest in one piece of make up make it this mascara, you won't be able to stop looking at yourself fluttering your eyelids!

Lush

I make no secret that I am a big fan of Lush, their whole philosophy and respect for natural ingredients. The smell you get from one of their shops is what I imagine a fairy tale to smell like. My new discovery from their store is not about the nice smells or bubble but about being truly useful. ULTRABALM is a vegan alternative to beeswax but even if you aren't a vegan you will love the benefits. It has a multitude of uses, from scruffs to scraps, it soothes irritation and reliefs discomfort. For the past few weeks I have had it by my bedside as I have used it as a lip balm, around my eyes as a moisturiser and on my hands to soften them. Today I got a little carried away with a pumice stone on my hips and after I got out the bath they were bright red and covered in scratches. I have now covered the area with ULTRABALM and it has calmed the redness down and relived some of the pain. I won't be making that mistake again!
