As regular readers of my blog will know hair removal is one
of those things I find a constant source of annoyance. No sooner have I managed
to get rid of all those pesky little hairs it seems like they have re-sprouted
and I have to start all over again. Waxing is great but painful, epilating good
but can cause ingrowing hairs and takes quite a while and shaving effective but
the results don’t last long at all. Wouldn’t it be nice to find a way to get
rid of unwanted body hair altogether?
So the big question I am looking at today is – is laser hair
removal permanent? Luckily for me and all the other people out there that
normally have to lock themselves away in the bathroom for an entire evening,
the answer is a resounding yes. Finally no more having to grit your teeth as
you work up the courage to pull off that wax strip. No more rush shaving jobs
that end up with blood trickling down your shins. No more strange noises from
an epilator or digging out ingrown hairs. All that time spent getting your body
fuzz free can now be put to much better use all thanks to the wonder of laser hair removal.
At sk:n clinics all around the UK people are banishing body hair for good. Within a minimum of six treatments all unwanted hair can removed permanently with practically no pain. The laser works on the dark pigment
of the hair, slowing down the rate the hair follicle produces hair and after
several treatments stopping the follicle produce hair completely. As it works
on the dark pigment of the hair it can’t yet treat blonde or grey hair but let’s
face it those aren’t the ones that are really a problem. It can be used on any
part of the body, it’s even safe to use on sensitive areas like the hair on the
face and bikini line.
It’s not only females that can enjoy the benefit of
permanent hair removal; men are also turning to laser hair removal to get of
body hair for good. I have a friend who looks like he is wearing a hairy jumper
when he takes his tops off and has struggled to find a way to get rid of it. It
is impossible to use other methods of hair removal on your own back and you
need to have some pretty understanding friends to shave, pluck or trim your
back hair on a regular basis. Now though, just after a few sessions you can be
hair free forever.
